Ocean Sotheby's International Realty Gallery
In December of 2013 I will be exhibiting at the renowned Sotheby's gallery. I will be posting the exact opening dates as we get closer. I will also be unveiling up to three brand-new pieces for this exhibit! Ocean Sotheby's International Realty opened an art gallery in the adjoining space next to their office in Islamorada. The Gallery features different local and regional artists' exhibitions every few months from sculptors to photographers to painters.
It is our goal at Ocean Sotheby's International Realty to promote the amazing artistic talent we have in the Keys. 5% of every purchase at The Gallery is donated to the Morada Way Arts and Cultural District, a not-for-profit organization aimed to increase awareness, knowledge and support of the arts and culture in the Upper Keys. In addition, Ocean Sotheby's International Realty is the title sponsor of the Islamorada Fine Art Expo organized by the Morada Way Arts and Culture District and held in January each year.
SunFest Juried Fine Art & Craft Show
The BB&T Juried Fine Art & Craft show features the work of more than 140 national artists. Their works include jewelry, painting, pottery & ceramics, photography, sculpture, wood, arts and crafts, and more. Artist demonstrations will be offered Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Artist Demonstration Booth.

2013 Ms. Wheelchair America
I had the incredible opportunity of being a judge for the 2013 Ms. wheelchair America pageant. This year's winner, Jennifer Adams, truly exemplified what it means to hold this position and all the women who participated were well deserving.
The mission of Ms. Wheelchair America is to provide an opportunity of achievement for women who happen to be wheelchair users to successfully educate and advocate for the more than 54 million Americans living with disabilities. Unlike traditional beauty pageants, Ms. Wheelchair America is not a contest to select the most attractive individual. It is instead a competition based on advocacy, achievement, communication and presentation to select the most accomplished and articulate spokeswoman for persons with disabilities. The selected representative must be able to communicate both the needs and the accomplishments of her constituency to the general public, the business community and the legislature.
2013 Hero Dog Awards
My service dog Dre and I have been nominated for the 2013 Hero Dog Awards in the service dogs category! We have partnered with the incredible nonprofit organization who provided me with Dre at no charge, Canine Companions for Independence. The finalists from each category will be flown out to out to California for a red carpet event where the overall winner will be announced. Some of the A-list celebrity judges include Whoopi Goldberg, Miranda Lambert, and Betty White, all to be televised on the Hallmark Channel!

Northern Trust (Nasdaq:NTRS) is a global leader in delivering innovative investment management, asset and fund administration, fiduciary and banking solutions to corporations, institutions and affluent individuals. I had the incredible opportunity to exhibit my entire body of work at the North Palm Beach branch under the name "Invest in Your Ability". I created three brand-new pieces to be unveiled at the opening reception that highlighted specific landmarks in the area. This event was truly top notch including an open bar, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, socialites, politicians and celebrities. This was without a doubt one of the most memorable exhibits I have had the pleasure of participating in.

President Barack Obama Family Portrait, October 23, 2012
After almost one year in the works, I am honored to say I presented this family portrait to the The President of the United States, Barack Obama, today! I started working on this portrait last year as a personal project and it gradually gained the attention of the right people that made today possible. Here are the official White House photos as well as the "artist proof" he graciously signed for me. Regardless of your political view he proved himself to be an incredibly gracious man, taking the time to learn more about me, giving mom a hug, and assuring me the portrait would one day hang in his private library after riding home on Air Force One.
7th Annual Art in the Gardens
The seed has been planted for a record-breaking Art in the Gardens this year when the annual outdoor art festival takes up roots at Downtown at the Gardens on Oct. 13-14. The free two-day event will continue to offer premier family-friendly entertainment with more than 70 local artists, live music and delicious food. Children of all ages can showcase their artist abilities in the festival's Halloween-themed ArtiKids area. "Spooky" tunes will play from the Carousel and A Latte Fun and Resource Depot will offer holiday-inspired arts and crafts.

Solo Exhibit - Palm Beach Gardens City Hall
The City of Palm Beach Gardens is proud to announce a solo exhibit by featured artist, and lifelong resident, AJ Brockman in the GardensArt program. Founded in 1989, the GardensArt program is a unique program that exhibits the work of locally and nationally recognized professional artists and photographers. It was established to increase the opportunities for cultural exchange between artists and the community. The rotating exhibits are loaned to the City for approximately six to eight weeks and provide contact with a broad spectrum of high quality artwork through varied techniques and mediums. GardensArt has earned and maintained an exceptional reputation among professional artists and the community as a whole. The program offers workshops, artist demonstrations, musical performances, and community partnerships in order to make the program more interactive. All of the exhibits are free and open to the public.

VSA is proud to announce a solo exhibit by featured artist AJ Brockman. VSA Florida - Palm Beach County serves 1,600 children and adults with disabilities in classrooms, performance halls and art studios throughout Palm Beach County. From Boca Raton to Belle Glade and Jupiter, VSA brings more than 1,600 artists volunteers, educators, family and friends together each year.
